Drift Champions

Drift Champions is a free to play retro-inspired top-down 3D racing game for iOS and Android. It has a variety of different cars, special effects and game modes to choose from. It was made in Unity by me and a fellow programmer along with a few artists. It gave me some really good understanding of Unity’s physics and UI system. I really enjoyed working on this game, as developing racing games was one among the items in my game dev bucket list.

Areas of contribution –Gameplay, UI, Audio FX

Programming Languages Used – C#

Tools used – Unity3D, Visual Studio, Photoshop.

Details –

• Created a AAA style menu UI along with a real-time 3D background.

• Created a few different car prototypes complete with physics and controller setup.

• Setup input for player controls.

• Setup the Audio Mixer to manage various parallel sound effects in-game.

• Supported the porting task to iOS.
